Our Staff Halloween Pumpkin Carving Contest is BACK!

In preparation for a "bewitching Halloween", the Cedar Pet Clinic of Lake Elmo staff, er, "Boo Crew"  is in the midst of carving, styling and exercising their creative genius in coming up with their 2015 pumpkin carvings!  Would you like to help us with our contest?

Stop by the clinic from Oct 28th to Oct 31st to vote for YOUR favorites!  Which of our staff members will be the most creative this year?  We're hoping for a "spooktacularly creative" event!

Cedar Pet Clinic Lake Elmo is pleased to announce that a member of our client care team, Kathleen W., has received a nomination for the 2016 Receptionist of the Year. Petplan, the comprehensive insurance coverage for pets, created Veterinary Awards five years ago to honor outstanding advocates for pets all across North America. Kathleen has been part of our family here at Cedar Pet Clinic since 2012. Even though Kathleen spends her day serving the needs of animals, she has four more waiting for her at home. These include her cats Henry, Oscar, and Felix and a hedgehog named Maurice.

Mae N. had this to say about Kathleen when she nominated her for the PeTplan Veterinary Awards:

"Kathleen is the first to greet me at the door at Cedar Pet Clinic, and always has a smile for the animals. She knows my dogs by name and knows their favorite things. When I had a dog suffering from bone cancer, Kathleen called to check up on him. Having someone who cares so much about my pets at the front desk makes it so much easier to leave if they need procedures."

We can hardly wait to find out if Kathleen is named a semi-finalist, finalist, or grand prize winner. Petplan will announce the winners at its fourth annual Veterinary Awards dinner on January 16, 2016 in Orlando, Florida. The winner in each category will receive cash, prizes, and a donation made to his or her favorite pet charity on behalf of Petplan.

We are pleased to inform you that our own Dr. John Baillie has received a nomination for the 2016 Veterinarian of the Year Award in a contest sponsored by Petplan. The company, which offers health insurance plans for pets, has been honoring outstanding advocates for pet health since 2011. The contest covers clinics all across North America.

Mae N. wrote this testimonial about Dr. Baillie when she submitted his name for the award:
