Reptile Awareness Day, which takes place annually on October 21, is an opportunity for reptile lovers everywhere to celebrate their unique pets. Unfortunately, many people assume the worst about reptiles without taking the time to learn the unique characteristics of each breed. This awareness campaign aims to change unfair stereotypes as well as spotlight several ways that people can support reptiles of all sizes, shapes, and skin textures.

October 11 to 17 is National Veterinary Technician’s Week, a time to thank our hard-working veterinary technicians for all they do to help care for the pets entrusted to our care. Duties of a Veterinary Technician
All veterinary technicians must complete a post-secondary program in veterinary technology to be eligible to work with animals. Programs may take up to two years to complete.
