Cedar Pet Clinic Blog

Introducing Our New Website!

Welcome to the new website for Cedar Pet Clinic Lake Elmo. We are so happy that you are here. Our staff decided to make this change because we feel it is important that our online presence closely reflect our in-person practice, and our other site was past its prime!  Along with "Exceptional Care for Your Exceptional Pet",  building relationships is a top priority, and we wanted our new website to better reflect that.
Whether you have a dog, cat, bird, reptile, or pocket pet, we know you consider him or her a part of the family. Your pet is part of our family as well.

Navigation Differences
On our old site, you could find the information you needed through a task bar across the top of the home page. The new Cedar Pet Clinic Lake Elmo site features our main categories on the left-hand side of the home page. It is a cleaner, more condensed look that allows you to focus on locating the information that brought you to our website in the first place.

Faster Speed and a Better Mobile Experience
We decided to update our website to make using it a completely seamless experience. While our old site loaded quickly, the new one loads even faster.

The mobile view has been customized to allow for you and your busy life!  With the most frequently needed links and contact information right at your fingertips, we are only a tap away to request an appointment, either by phone call or online request.

Thank you for allowing us to care for your pets. Please feel free to share your feedback about our website upgrade - we look forward to hearing from you!

Keep Your Pet Safe This Halloween

Kids and adults alike look forward to the fun of Halloween, but October 31 and the days leading up to it can cause extreme stress for your pet. This starts with Halloween decorations. Whether it’s orange and black streamers or a carved pumpkin with a lit candle inside, you need to be extra vigilant supervising your pet around seasonal decorations. It only takes a forceful wag of a tail to knock over a candle and start a fire. Curious pets can also make themselves sick trying to eat streamers, cardboard cutouts, and candy corn used in Halloween decorations.
