For the sixth consecutive year, Cedar Pet Clinic Lake Elmo will join forces with Valley Outreach during the Minnesota Food Share March campaign. The agency, which provides food, clothing, and emergency funds to people experiencing a financial crisis, depends on the support of local organizations to help meet its goals.
Dr. John Baillie, the owner and medical director of Cedar Pet Clinic, chose to participate in this event because he knows how important pets are to their families. Receiving a donation of pet food during a period of financial difficulty can mean the difference between keeping a beloved pet and having to surrender him or her to a shelter.
Our entire staff is hoping for a repeat of previous years when our generous clients filled the exam room at Cedar Pet Clinic with more than 1,000 pounds of pet food. Moe, our resident cat, enjoys supervising the process from his favorite perch in the room. At the end of March, we gather all of the pet food and deliver it to Valley Outreach.
You are welcome to drop off any type of pet food for any type of pet at our clinic during the month of March. Cedar Pet Clinic is located on County Road 14 (Old Highway 5) in Lake Elmo, directly across the street from Lake Elmo Elementary School. Our street address is 11051 Stillwater Boulevard North, Lake Elmo. You may drop off your donation at any time during regular clinic hours. We look forward to seeing you as well as helping Valley Outreach serve pets in need.
