In Our Area: Stillwater Dog Park

If you’re looking for a unique outdoor activity you can take part in with your pet, spending a day at the Gateway Segment of the Willard Munger Trail is a great option for you.

The State Trail, which is located on a converted rail-trail, is a paved trail that reaches 18 miles across St. Paul, Maplewood, North St. Paul and Oakdale. Throughout the 18 mile stretch of the trail, you’ll encounter a combination of parks, wetlands, lakes and northern prairie lands.

Take your pet to the trail for a walk, run or hike. Go cross-country skiing on the paved section of the trail, go in-line skating, the trail even has around 10 miles of area perfect for horseback riding.

Spend a day with your pet and find out everything this amazing trail has to offer. It’s one of Cedar Pet Clinic Lake Elmo's favorites!  If you have questions about taking your dog out into the cold, as clearly, winter is not behind us yet,  please give us a call—Dr. Baillie and our Cedar Pet Clinic Lake Elmo veterinarians can advise you on any of your pet’s health needs, such as arthritis, that may impact the fun that awaits you!
